CAEHR at the MII Symposium

DigiHub CAEHR at the MII Symposium 2025 in Jena: Lecture and poster presentations

At a specialist event held during the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) Symposium 2025 on September 11, 2025, in Jena, Benjamin Löhnhardt from the Institute for Medical Informatics presented a report on his experiences in setting up a rehabilitation portal as part of the CAEHR project. The presentation provided a concise overview of the implementation work carried out to date and divided the report into two main sections: lessons learned from the project implementation and user feedback.

“The goal is to make the experience gained available for the second funding phase of CAEHR, in which the rehabilitation portal is to be reimplemented,” said Löhnhardt.

In addition to the presentation, two posters were presented: A project poster on CAEHR, which showed the preliminary work of the first funding phase and an outlook for the second funding phase. Particular emphasis was placed on the two use cases: emergency care and cross-hub care. Furthermore, a joint poster from the DigiHub initiative presented the cross-hub use case and the interlinking of the seven DigiHubs (Digital Progress Hubs for Health).

Background:

The CAEHR project is part of the DigiHub initiative and is dedicated to cross-sector digitization in the healthcare sector in Germany. The focus is on cardiovascular diseases. The second funding phase of CAEHR began on August 1, 2025, and builds on the findings and developments of the first phase.
