Cooperation in teaching

Department of Medical Informatics

Medical Informatics is a discipline that requires a high degree of interdisciplinary cooperation. This is true regardless of whether Medical Informatics are active in research, care, business or health care institutions. The Department for Medical Informatics takes this fact into account by having a broad cooperation with internal and external lecturers. In addition, the Institute not only trains Medical Informatics, but also teaches the basics of Medical Informatics in other courses of study.

Internal cooperation

Cooperation in medical informatics training with clinics and institutes of the UMG and the Georg-August-University

Without the participation, expertise and personal commitment of the numerous colleagues, the medical informatics education in Göttingen would not have the professional breadth and depth that currently characterises our curriculum. We would like to thank all participants for their support!

External cooperation

External lecturer at the study focus Medical Informatics

Our range of courses is supplemented by external lecturers who come from the healthcare sector and internationally active companies. They have been asked to pass on their outstanding expertise and experience on specific topics of our curriculum to students. In this way the students gain professional insights beyond their university environment and have the opportunity to exchange ideas in a practical way.

Our special thanks go to the lecturers for their support of the curriculum.
