DZKJ Data Management Workshop

On November 28, 2024, the first workshop on data management of the newly founded German Center for Child and Youth Health (DZKJ) took place in Göttingen in presence. As one of eight German Centers for Health Research, the DZKJ offers scientists the opportunity to conduct interdisciplinary research into the causes of common and rare diseases in childhood and adolescence as well as the development of innovative therapies and prevention strategies. A total of 24 research institutions at seven locations are involved in the DZKJ. The Institute of Medical Informatics at the University Medical Center Göttingen coordinates the data management. Representatives from all sites were present at the workshop and discussed the different decentralized or centralized data infrastructures and possible data management solutions for the various research areas in the DZKJ.
