NUKLEUS presence meeting in Hanover
The NUKLEUS community met in Hanover on November 27, 2024 for a direct exchange within the research infrastructure.
Prior to the meeting, Dr. Norman Klopp gave a guided tour of the Hannover Unified Biobank, demonstrating the well-thought-out process of biosample processing and the storage of biosamples in the automated storage robot.
After a brief welcome by the speakers Prof. Dr. Dagmar Krefting, Prof. Dr. Janne Vehreschild and Prof. Dr. Peter Heuschmann, the work packages, including the “new ones” of the funding period applied for, introduced themselves and described the challenges and experiences gained.
On behalf of the Institute of Medical Informatics, Norman Weinert enthusiastically presented his work in the transfer office for collaborative clinical research. Irina Chaplinskaya-Sobol gave a concise presentation in which she gave us an insight into the “Christmas bakery” of clinical data management, which will certainly be remembered by many.
Afterwards, the “lessons learned” from working with the studies and projects were discussed in the plenary session, as well as the upcoming changes due to the new metastructures. The event concluded with a pub quiz with questions from all work packages.
