On April 2, 2026, Prof. Dr. Dagmar Krefting and Benjamin Löhnhardt (Department of Medical Informatics at the University Medical Center Göttingen) visited the Digital Progress Hub for Health (DigiHub) LeMeDaRT (Lean Medical Data: the right data at the right time – From city, country, data flow to intelligent medical data) in Mannheim. The aim of the meeting was to consolidate thematic overlaps within the hub-wide use case and to identify potential for future collaboration.

Both DigiHubs focus on the prehab-to-rehab treatment pathway, which provides targeted support to patients both before surgery during prehabilitation and in the subsequent rehabilitation phase. Although the DigiHubs' specific areas of focus differ with regard to the diseases they address (CAEHR with a focus on cardiovascular diseases and LeMeDaRT on cancer), there are clear parallels in the underlying processes and digital tools used.

During the exchange, the topic of prehabilitation was discussed in detail. To continue this constructive dialogue, CAEHR coordinator Prof. Dr. Dagmar Krefting invited the DigiHub LeMeDaRT, headed by Prof. Dr. Falko Sniehotta, to a return visit to Göttingen. The aim is to further intensify the exchange that has already begun.
