Prof. Dr. Dagmar Krefting (Director of the Department of Medical Informatics) and Benjamin Löhnhardt (Department of Medical Informatics) represented the CAEHR project at a joint exhibition booth shared by the TMF, Medical Informatics, and the other Digital Helath Innovation Hubs (DigiHub) at DMEA 2026, which took place in Berlin from April 21 to 23, 2026.
The exhibition booth served as a meeting point for experts from research, clinical practice, technology, and healthcare administration. In addition to in-depth professional discussions with an engaged audience, DMEA also provided the opportunity to exchange ideas with other DigiHubs and strengthen synergies. Also present in Berlin from Göttingen were the Head of Emergency Services for the City and District of Göttingen, PD Dr. Nils Kunze-Szikszay, as well as Michael Franke from the Göttingen Fire Department’s emergency services division. Together with representatives from Gematik, the service provider ZTM, and the device manufacturer TAKWA, the "Emergency Care" use case was further developed in terms of content regarding the utilization of the ePA and aligned with practical implementation. Also present on-site from CAEHR were Mareike Przysucha (Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences) and Justin Vischedyk (Digital Health Research Group, Georg-August University Göttingen).
Prof. Dr. Dagmar Krefting also participated as a speaker in a session titled "AI in Healthcare: What Remains, What’s Coming, What’s Disappearing?" and was able to contribute her research perspective to the discussion.
