DZHK Infrastructure meeting

The DZHK Infrastructure Meeting took place at the Department for Medical Informatics on April 16 and 17, 2026. This meeting is held twice a year in person, each time organized by a different project partner.

A key topic was the further development of the existing quality assurance process for study data. The already established process is to be specifically optimized by more closely involving both study-specific data management and the sponsor. The aim is to further improve data quality while simultaneously enabling maximum reuse of data from the DZHK Heart Bank.

Another focus was on the reintegration of the analysis data. Different data categories were considered, and their handling was discussed. The goal is to establish a structured process that considers and makes available various data categories from both completed user projects and analysis data from the DZHK studies.

Furthermore, other topics were covered, including randomization in clinical trials and the presentation of key figures for studies and centers.

Finally, the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality management process in accordance with ISO standard 9001 was discussed, with the aim of implementing it uniformly across all project partners.
