Consortium Meeting of the CAEHR Digital Progress Hub for Health at the University Medical Center Göttingen

University Medical Center Göttingen hosted the consortium meeting for the Digital Progress Hub for Health (DigiHub) CAEHR. Held on July 2 at the Heart and Brain Center, the event brought together CAEHR project partners as well as representatives from other DigiHubs and the coordination project. In total, ten participants from six other projects within the DigiHub initiative accepted the invitation to Göttingen.
The meeting focused on current activities within the project's individual work packages and on a technical exchange regarding the two CAEHR use cases. The emergency care use case was presented in detail. Subsequently, participants delved deeper into key questions and development prospects during a "World Café" style mini-workshop, working in small groups to explore and further develop various aspects.
Another key focus was the exchange with DigiHubs, whose work is closely aligned with CAEHR’s activities. The participating projects presented their respective treatment pathways as well as the digital tools and IT solutions they employ, revealing numerous overlaps with CAEHR’s approaches. Participants engaged in particularly in-depth discussions regarding the use of a prehabilitation app—planned by several DigiHubs—and the joint development of a portal. The discussions highlighted the many ways in which the projects interconnect and the significant potential for cross-hub collaboration. At the same time, the meeting demonstrated a need for further cross-project coordination to better leverage synergies and efficiently advance shared solutions.
